Elite System Explained
Elite system prevents freelancers from not making serious bids since it takes 1 credit from their account to bid. This attracts serious Freelancers only. No Low bids to secure project and then renegotiate half way through.
By Selecting Project as Special fewer bids might come on project since Freelancers use up credit to bid but gives Employers pool of more serious Freelancers. Freelancers think carefully about the bid scope of work and make serious intelligent bids.This system helps Freelancers too since it lowers competition on bids since non-serious workers won’t top up credit to bid on jobs .
Any project above USD 1000 is automatically set as Elite project. Employers can make the choice whether to make project Elite listed or not. Each User starts with 10 Elite credits
Employer
Listed = More serious workpool
Non - Listed = Bigger number of Freelancers and a lot of bids
Freelancer
Listed = Less Competition from other Freelancers and only serious professionals usually make bids
Non Listed = Don’t have to use up credit to bid on project
